LUBBOCK — Western Texas College finished in seventh place at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) men’s golf tournament Friday.
The Westerners (289-296-293-292—1170) shot 292 during the final round at The Rawls Course.
Michael Weppernig (70-71-70-74) tied for 10th place by shooting 285. Paul Murphy (73-75-71-70) tied for 22nd place by shooting 296, followed by Hadley Reynolds (tied for 30th place, 73-73-77-73) at 296, Tae Itthiratchal (tied for 49th place, 75-74-75-77) at 301 and Jay Hitt (tied for 79th place, 79-73-78-84-75) at 310.
