LEWISVILLE — The Western Texas College Westerners lost three games at the Midwest Scouting Service East-West Basketball Challenge.
Dejuan Jeffries scored 27 points in WTC’s 104-93 loss to San Jacinto College on Friday. Christian Bennings and Jordan Tolbert each had 12 points. Brian Roberts scored 11.
The Westerners lost to Lee College 87-83 Saturday. Jeffries scored 23 points while Tolbert had 19 points and Hartsfield added 11 points. Jordan Evans finished with 10 points.
Jeffries scored 14 points in a 90-79 loss to Angelina College on Sunday. Evans scored 12 points and Talbert had 11.
WTC (1-3) will host the Southwest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Westerners will play at Mid-American Christian College Friday and at Seminole State Saturday.
