The Western Texas College baseball team split a doubleheader with Vernon College Saturday.
WTC lost to Vernon 13-4 in the first game. Jesus Diaz had two singles.
The Westerners won the nightcap, 5-4.
WTC (7-6) will play a doubleheader at Ranger College beginning at noon Wednesday.
