The Western Texas College softball team swept a doubleheader from Frank Phillips College and lost two games to Clarendon College over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Lady Westerners claimed 15-2 and 15-3 victories over Frank Phillips to open the Western Junior College Athletic Conference schedule.
WTC lost to Clarendon 5-0 and 4-3 on Sunday.
The Lady Westerners (13-19, 2-2) will play at Midland College Friday.
