WTC wins conference series against Clarendon College

The Western Texas College Westerners won three of four games against Clarendon College in a Western Junior College Athletic Conference baseball series Friday and Saturday.

WTC swept a doubleheader with Clarendon, 3-2 and 1-0, on Friday. The Westerners defeated Clarendon, 7-0, in Saturday’s first game and lost the nightcap, 4-3.

No statistics were available for Friday’s second game.

WTC (13-12, 4-4) will play a four-game series starting Friday at Frank Phillips College.
