WACO — Snyder’s Kerrington Biggers lifted 980 pounds and finished second in the Class 4A 165-pound weight class at the Texas Women’s Coaches Powerlifting Association state meet Friday night.
ANDREWS — The Snyder Tigers finished non-district play by splitting a baseball doubleheader against Andrews Friday.

PAMPA — The Snyder Lady Tigers lost to Pampa 17-6 in a non-district softball game Thursday.
Pampa scored two runs in the first inning and seven in the second for a 9-0 lead.
Thirteen Scurry County players were named to the District 12-1A boys’ all-district basketball team.
Ira’s Karson Valentine was named the newcomer of the year.
